Dyce
Role: Co-founder, Creative director, product development, assortment planning.
In early 2009 I launched a streetwear brand with my best friend from university. I was in charge of design, branding, marketing and creative direction of the product. The idea was to create a clean look with a touch of irreverence, with the slogan encouraging customers to "take a risk, roll the dice" just like we had done by launching the brand. The Dyceman character was the face and mascot of the brand, adding playfulness and attitude to the brand voice.
We sold out of our first run of wallets, t-shirts and belts. The brand was eventually dissolved since neither of the partners could dedicate themselves full time to the project.
